However, the name Trachodon is no longer in use today and has been replaced by more specific and accurate dinosaur classifications.
Trachodon was a herbivorous dinosaur known for its duck-billed or beak-like mouth that contained hundreds of tightly packed teeth. It possessed a large and elongated skull, a long neck, and a strong, bulky body. With a length ranging from 9 to 10 meters and a weight estimated at around 3 to 4 tons, Trachodon was a massive dinosaur belonging to the hadrosaur family.
