Rana Goliath is a species of large frog belonging to the genus Rana and the family Ranidae. Commonly known as the Goliath frog, it is recognized as the largest frog in the world. This species is predominantly found in the rainforests of Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon in Central Africa.
The Goliath frog is characterized by its massive size, with males reaching lengths of up to 32 centimeters (1.05 feet) and weighing around 3.25 kilograms (7.17 pounds). Females are slightly smaller, but still considerable in size. Its body is stout, with distinctive greenish-brown or olive-colored skin, covered in irregular dark spots and bumps.
