The Group A Beta-Hemolytic Streptococcus bacteria are Gram-positive organisms that possess a distinct cellular arrangement when viewed under a microscope. They tend to form chains (rather than clusters) resembling strings of beads. The beta-hemolytic property indicates that these bacteria are capable of fully lysing red blood cells, leading to a clear zone around the colony when grown on blood agar plates.
