Etymology of ARAYSE
The word "arayse" is a variant spelling of the word "arise". Both words have the same etymology. The word "arise" comes from the Old English word "arīsan", which is derived from the West Germanic word "uzrīsan". This word is a combination of "uz-" meaning "out" or "up" and "rīsan" meaning "to rise". The term has roots in Proto-Germanic and can be traced back to the common ancestor of Germanic languages, known as Proto-Indo-European.
