Tetrarooseveltite is a rare mineral consisting of copper, zinc, and arsenic. Its name is derived from Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States, and his four terms in office. It is pronounced as tet-ra-roo-zvelt-ite (/tɛtɹəɹuːzvɛltʌɪt/) with emphasis on the second syllable. The word is spelled as tetra- (four) + Roosevelt (the president's surname) + -ite (a suffix used for minerals). Tetrarooseveltite was discovered in Nevada in 1978 and named by the Mineralogical Society of America.
