Treatment of SIRS primarily involves addressing the underlying cause, such as administering antibiotics for bacterial infections or providing supportive care for non-infectious causes. Monitoring vital signs and organ function is crucial in managing SIRS. In cases where sepsis occurs, prompt medical intervention, including the administration of intravenous fluids, antibiotics, and possibly vasopressor medications to stabilize blood pressure, is essential.
