Polyzoan is a scientific term that refers to a group of marine animals belonging to the phylum Bryozoa, also known as moss animals or sea mats. Bryozoa is a diverse and widespread phylum, consisting of small, sessile, colonial animals that inhabit both freshwater and marine environments.
