Pitheci, also known as titi monkeys, is a genus of small to medium-sized New World monkeys that belong to the family Pitheciidae. The term "Pitheci" can also be used to describe individual members of this genus. These primates are native to the rainforests of South America, particularly in the countries of Brazil, Peru, and Colombia.
Typically weighing between 1 to 3 kilograms, Pitheci monkeys possess a slender body with long, bushy tails.
