Ophiophagus hannah, commonly known as the king cobra, is a species of highly venomous snake found predominantly in forests across Southeast Asia. It belongs to the Elapidae family and is considered the world's longest venomous snake, with males reaching lengths of up to 18 feet (5.5 meters) on average, although some individuals may surpass this.
