Mexican Nut Pine, scientifically known as Pinus cembroides or Pinus cembroides subsp. cembroides, is a species of evergreen coniferous tree native to Mexico and the southwestern part of the United States. It belongs to the family Pinaceae and is commonly referred to as Mexican piñon, Mexican stone pine, or Mexican pine nut.
The Mexican Nut Pine tree typically has a slow growth rate, reaching a height of 12-16 meters (39-52 feet) and a spread of 6-10 meters (20-33 feet).
