For instance, if two numbers, let's say 12 and 9, have in divisibilities, it means that there is no whole number that can divide both 12 and 9 without leaving a remainder. In this case, the numbers 12 and 9 are not indivisible by each other because they have a common factor of 3, which can divide both numbers without leaving a remainder. However, if we consider 12 and 7, they do have in divisibilities as the only whole numbers that can divide 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12, whereas for 7, only 1 and 7 are the whole number divisors.
The concept of in divisibilities is fundamental in number theory, which deals with the properties, relationships, and patterns of numbers.
