Etymology of EURABIA
The term "Eurabia" is a portmanteau (a blend of words) of "Europe" and "Arabia". It was popularized in the 2005 book "Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis" by author Bat Ye'or. However, the concept of "Eurabia" as a supposed conspiracy or vision of Muslim domination over Europe was first proposed in the early 1970s by a French journalist and political commentator named Gisèle Littman, also known as Bat Ye'or. She argued that Europe was gradually becoming increasingly Islamicized through immigration, demographic changes, and cultural influence from the Arab world.
