In severe cases, hospitalization and intravenous antibiotics may be required.
Prevention of endometritis can be achieved through good hygiene practices during childbirth or medical procedures, the appropriate use of antibiotics, and practicing safe sex to prevent sexually transmitted infections. Regular check-ups and prompt medical attention for any signs of infection are also recommended to prevent the development of complications.
