Bush cow, also known as the African buffalo or Cape buffalo, is a large, powerful, and wild bovine species found in sub-Saharan Africa. The bush cow is characterized by its stout build, massive horns, and dark, shaggy coat. Its distinctive horns curve outwards, then upwards, forming a characteristic "boss" at the base.

Bush cows are highly social animals, forming large herds that can consist of several hundred individuals, including both males and females.
