Burt Young is an American actor, born Gerald Tommaso DeLouise on April 30, 1940, in Queens, New York. He is best known for his portrayal of Paulie Pennino, the brother-in-law and best friend of the iconic character Rocky Balboa in the Rocky film series.
Young began his acting career in the late 1960s, initially appearing in various off-Broadway productions.
