Beatrix of the Netherlands, also known as Queen Beatrix (born Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard on January 31, 1938), is a member of the Dutch royal family who served as the reigning queen of the Netherlands from 1980 until her abdication in 2013. She is the daughter of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard and the eldest of four sisters.
