Ashbel Green Fairchild (1848-1888) was an American lawyer and politician who served as the 35th Attorney General of the United States under President Rutherford B. Hayes. Born in Ohio, Fairchild's distinguished career in law and politics made him a prominent figure during the late 19th century.
