The appendix is a small, finger-shaped pouch located in the lower right side of the abdomen, connected to the large intestine.
When an individual experiences appendicular colica, the pain typically starts near the navel and gradually moves towards the lower right side of the abdomen. The pain may worsen upon movement or when pressure is applied to the area. Additional symptoms may include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fever, and an overall feeling of discomfort.

This condition requires immediate medical intervention, as it may lead to a potentially life-threatening situation if the appendix ruptures.
