Apodemialgia is a medical term used to describe pain in the legs caused by walking. The word is spelled with an initial "a" followed by "p", "o", "d", "e", "m", "i", "a", "l", "g", "i", and "a". In IPA transcription, it is pronounced /əˌpɒdɪmiˈældʒə/. The "a" sound in the first syllable is pronounced as the schwa sound, followed by stress on the second syllable. The "g" sound in the final syllable is pronounced as the "j" sound.
