Under the ACE structure, various subordinate commands are responsible for specific operational areas and functions. These commands include the Joint Force Command in Brunssum, Netherlands, which is primarily responsible for land operations and coordination with member nations' national military headquarters. Additionally, ACE consists of the Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) in Northwood, United Kingdom, responsible for maritime operations; the Allied Air Command (AIRCOM) in Ramstein, Germany, responsible for air operations; and the Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC) in Ulm, Germany, responsible for logistics and support.
Allied Command Europe plays a crucial role in coordinating and synchronizing allied military forces in the region, maintaining deterrence, and ensuring the collective defense of NATO member nations.
