Additionally, the absence of sebaceous glands may result in dry and scaly skin, making it more susceptible to infections, injuries, and other skin-related issues.
Adermogenesis is believed to occur due to mutations in certain genes that are responsible for the development of the skin during embryonic development. These genetic abnormalities interfere with the formation of the skin layers, leading to the characteristic features of the disorder.
This condition is extremely rare, with only a few cases reported worldwide. Due to its rarity, limited information is available regarding its treatment and management. Currently, there is no known cure for adermogenesis, and management focuses primarily on supportive care to address any associated complications and ensure the overall well-being of the affected individuals.
